Wore this on a day of thrifting with my good friend Danielle. With this trippy weather that So. Cal is having, I was burning up in this outfit by 3pm. Our days start out so gloomy and then it all burns off just when you choose your outfit. 

Sidenote: I'm wearing my hair naturally again to grow out the heat damage. Now that I actually know how to properly take care of my natural curls, I love them so much more than before.

When I first picked out this outfit, I didn't even realize how similar it was to an outfit that Cher wore in Clueless! Realizing that made me feel oddly empowered for some reason, as if I had channeled Cher's confidence through this outfit. Anyways, my friend Shammir took these pictures of me (while my friend Jojo "styled" me as seen in the first photo) after we saw a movie so excuse all of the photos of me giggling or the ones that are slightly blurry.

I hung out with these guys and our other friend Cate a few days ago to see Transformers. After a stress filled day of organizing, hurriedly eating sloppy burritos in the car, and realizing that, even though summer has already started, we were already drifting apart, we finally sat down to see the movie. I honestly thought Transformers was mediocre. It barely held my attention and constantly made me say "Are you serious" in a very irritated tone. After the movie we went to this park where you can see the city lights below you. We didn't stay for long since it was cold and the rotating sprinklers made it hard for us to stay in one spot. Overall though, it was a pretty chill night.

Just so you know, I was so damn hot in this outfit. June gloom is real and tends to trick people like me who judge their outfit for the day by looking outside their window in the morning for a weather report and not by looking at their Iphone weather app. Anyways, "Birkenstocks" are my new favorite shoes! Even the ones I have from Target are so comfortable and they go with everything! I should have foreseen this trend once I noticed that my great-grandfather always wears his birks.

This what I wore on the day of my DTLA trip! It was really comfortable, thought I must admit that I felt slightly childish walking around in overalls. I remember wearing overalls when I was three or four and hating them because they were too confusing to get off with my tiny little hands.

The last pic is what I purchased from H&M- being that I am an incoming college freshmen, I am already feeling the harsh stings of expensive college fees and becoming a broke college student, so I settled for two simple tees that cost about $20 together!
